Telephone worker electrocuted in Brooklyn

NEW YORK - A 46-year-old man working on a telephone pole in Brooklyn has died.

Steve Clayton was standing in a cherry picker working on the pole at the Fort Hamilton Army Base Saturday when a live wire struck him.

He died at a hospital. Clayton worked for subcontractor Eastern Electric in New Jersey.
