POUGHKEEPSIE - Police in Poughkeepsie are investigating the city's second homicide in two days.
Police Chief Ronald Knapp says investigators were still searching for clues in Friday's fatal shooting of 22-year-old Naquan James when they were called to the scene of the second killing early Saturday morning.
Knapp says investigators determined the victim, described only as a black female of undetermined age, had been stabbed, then thrown out the window of a third-story apartment.
An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday to determine the cause of death.
Police say they've arrested a man who they believe has information about Friday's shooting, and they don't believe the two killings are connected.
