Ex-cop admits molesting girl

SYRACUSE - A former Cicero police officer is facing 10 years in state prison after pleading guilty to sexually molesting a girl over a four-year period.
Jack Himes Sr. pleaded guilty Tuesday before Onondaga County Judge William Walsh to a single felony count of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child. The 68-year-old Himes admitted sexual contact with the girl between January 2002 and December 2005, when she ranged in age from 7 to 11. Himes will be sentenced July 15.
