We would like to commend the Auburn policemen and the firemen and women that reported to the scene of a fallen man in front of our house. I think that the quick response after my wife dialed 911 bettered the health care of the injured individual. We don't know who he was or what happened, but we hope he is well.

I think that was a prime example of how good our police are and the amazing fire response and ambulance units that arrived. I also think this is an example of why we should not cut any positions from these people in the future. These people together as a team were lifesavers today and on the scene within minutes.

Again we hope the gentleman is well, and we wish him the best!
