An Auburn man pleaded guilty in Cayuga County Court Tuesday to promoting child pornography via e-mail.

Eric Brown, 21, of 33 N. Division St., Auburn, admitted that on Jan. 3 he knowingly disseminated the video of a teenager engaged in sexual acts with an adult.

Brown is expected to receive six months in the Cayuga County Jail with 10 years post release supervision when he is sentenced on July 29.

Brown will also have to register as a sex offender.
