Rodney Donald's children have grown up and moved away but Fathers Day is still a special time for him and his wife, Betsy Donald.
The couple celebrated the morning with a smorgasbord of homemade waffles, egg and sausage casserole, baked ham, vegetables, and sweets of all kinds at the 13th annual Fathers Day Brunch held at the Southern Cayuga High School Sunday.
The brunch is sponsored by the Aurora Rotary and is considered the groups biggest fundraiser of the year.
Ed Rossmann, president of the Aurora Rotary, said that the Fathers Day Brunch is a nice way to raise monies for the group to help local organizations.
"Camp Gregory is our biggest beneficiary," he said. "But there are many others that we support. It varies from year to year. We like to keep it local."
