CORTLAND -- The Skaneateles girls lacrosse team is heading back to the state championship game for the fourth straight season, and this year they'll have a chance to get some revenge on the team that has handed them their only loss during this title game run.
The Lakers advanced by defeating Honeoye Falls-Lima 16-8 in the state semifinals Friday at SUNY Cortland. They will take on Shoreham-Wading River at noon Saturday at the same location.
Shoreham-Wading River is the defending state champion after defeating Skaneateles last year. The Lakers had taken the crown the previous two seasons.
