It was more than pathetic, it was heartbreaking, that one of your liberal columnists, Guy Cosentino, choses to write about RFK, but Cosentino ignores D-day and writes about this Robert Kennedy, who raised a communist son, Robert Kennedy Jr.
Barack's only agenda is just the word change.
Have one of your reporters compare Barack's speech to Hitler's speech at Nuremberg in 1934 because you will find the similarities so eerie that you will almost think that it was almost totally plagiarized by Barack. You won't believe it and it might soften the public's view of The Citizen and their ridiculous stance on homosexuality.
The self-admitted 95 percent liberal media is totally in the tank for Barack Hussein Obama.

* Northern Democrats: 145-9 (94%-6%)
* Northern Republicans: 138-24 (85%-15%)
The Senate version:
* Southern Democrats: 1-20 (5%-95%) (only Senator Ralph Yarborough of Texas voted in favor)
* Southern Republicans: 0-1 (0%-100%) (this was Senator John Tower of Texas)
* Northern Democrats: 45-1 (98%-2%) (only Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia opposed the measure)
* Northern Republicans: 27-5 (84%-16%)
From a percentage standpoint, fewer Democrats opposed than Republicans. And this was more a geopolitical vote than partisan anyway, if you look at it from a South/North perspective.
But when have the facts ever gotten in your way? "

Birth Control: My aunt had an IUD (i.e. an implant) -- it got loose and roamed around her insides until it stuck one bit of itself out through her stomach wall. No way I would trust something like that and I sure as heck wouldn't put one in a child/young woman mandatorily.
I also remember thinking when I first hit menarche, man, if I have to go through the grief, discomfort and inconvenience of being physically an adult, I want the benefits as well. I can easily imagine a young girl who might have held back and waited until she were a bit older, maybe for fear of becoming pregnant, thinking, heck, if they are going to stick this implant in me on the assumption I'm going to screw around, I might as well do it.
No, that's a bad plan.
And I don't trust anything that messes with the natural functioning of your hormones, particularly if there isn't anything wrong with them, and particularly not in girls and young women whose bodies are still forming.
Again, this comes down to a very personal choice and I would not want anyone, and particularly not the government, dictating what I had to do with my body, much less what young women in their physically formative years have to do. I don't have a problem with the schools teaching them the basics of how the body works and the possible alternatives for birth control, but parents do need to take more of a role talking with their kids about the less tangible stuff like values, responsibilities, respect for others and yourself, etc.
But I don't want the government dictating to any of us what they are going to demand we do with our own physical selves.
In the end, kids will grow into the adults they are going to be. Parents can give advice, set examples, try to be guides, but the kid is the one who has to decide who he or she is going to be. "

When I run one electrical item-such a A/C the pool pump goes off.
I also just read cell phone chargers just left in the outlet takes up energy--best to use a multi-strip and turn it off when not needed-same with microwave.
My biggest unsolved problem is the electric-it has me and the electric company baffled.
Stay away from meals that need the oven-use a grill.
Pull some recipes from the NET-healthier to make more home-cooked items than frozen food. The initial start up for spices/flour/etc might hit your wallet but you will not use them for just one meal.

my neighbor is growing above ground veggies-she has a green thumb/and will share.

I am glad my daughter is out of school-less driving each day, and less school costs.
She has 3 regular inexpensive activities=girlscouts/sign language class/bowling league.
lastly-I am a born shop-a-holic, I already have Xmas gifts in my closet.

It's clear that drilling in the Anwar would not be the huge "fix" as you seem to think.

AJ wrote on Jun 9, 2008 10:13 PM:
Dear AJ,
Our campaign for accountability for the Bush administration is making legitimate progress.
I am pleased to announce to you that the House Judiciary Committee has met my public call for Scott McClellan's immediate testimony with action:
Today, Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers officially invited Mr. McClellan to testify under oath on Friday, June 20th at 10AM.
After all of our hard work pushing for impeachment hearings for Vice President Cheney – the McClellan hearing provides our cause with a legitimate opportunity to showcase the crimes and violations of this Administration for the American people, the mainstream media, reluctant members of the Democratic party, and sensible Republicans. This hearing provides us our first genuine opportunity to enter the public consciousness and change the dynamics that have prevented true accountability for Bush and Cheney.
Mr. McClellan was a major figure in the Valerie Plame/CIA scandal, as well as a leading propagandist for the Bush White House's deliberate attempts to hide the true costs of this war from the American public. As such, Mr. McClellan will testify under oath (and be subject to perjury charges should he lie) and be asked about the following matters:
1. What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney , and key administration officials take in the effort to reveal the identity of covert CIA agent Valeria Plame Wilson – thus destroying her network and putting lives in jeopardy?
2. What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and key administration officials take regarding the firing of U.S. Attorneys or political reasons?
3. What role did President Bush, Vice President Cheney, key administration officials take in conspiring to blatantly break U.S. and International laws prohibiting the use of torture?
I call on Mr. McClellen to immediately accept this invitation and testify under oath as he previously agreed to while being interviewed on national television.
During the hearing I will have roughly five short minutes to question Mr. McClellan and undercover the illegalities committed by this Administration – which is why it is critically important that every representative on the Judiciary Committee hears your voice. Please let them know that you demand answers to these questions.
Nor should it stop there: Karl Rove has thumbed his nose to the Judiciary Committee's subpoena – joining Harriet Miers, Joshua Bolten and Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff David Addington as the only Administration officials in history to claim Congress has no power to even bring them before a committee to be questioned.
I have called for Karl Rove to be held in inherent contempt and for the other renegade officials to appear as required by their subpoenas, or be forced to do so by the House Sergeant of Arms.
What the Judiciary's request of McClellan proves is that if we stay vigilant – if we call loudly and repeatedly for accountability - that we become very difficult to ignore.
Please stay tuned. I hope for more developments soon.
With great respect,
Congressman Robert Wexler...
Now if only the spineless Dems would use inherent contempt against Rove, Meiers, Bolton, etc, we might get somewhere. Oh, did I forget impeaching Cheney and Bush for war crimes? That too. "

Just as adults need preventative health care--teens need preventative becoming parents care.
Is it wasted monies? I don't think so because reality is we cannot stop teens unless we lock them up until they are 18--which by law we cannot do!
A few teens/with good parents do pay attention and have their minds on different goals, the billboards and now Kmart's line of clothing is a reminder/follow-up!
A few teens do NOT get needed info from parents, and learn the wrong things from friends-a class may aid those.
The Pill is semi-good if remembered to be taken!

If you ask me, we were better off with female "gods". But of course, you can see why the degradation, subjugating and dehumanizing aspects of women were incorporated into the "Garden Of Eden fable--woman had to be made into a "product" of Man, and blamed forever for the "Fall" by eating the apple. Americans this week are paying $2.91 a gallon on average for regular

when President Bush first came to office.
“With record gas prices, record CEO pay packages, and record oil
company profits, Speaker Hastert and the Majority Congress continue to
give the American people empty rhetoric rather than join Democrats who
are working to lower gas prices now. [no specifics given]
“Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing
gas prices by cracking down on price gouging, rolling back the billions
of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given

Democrats won the majority on that pledge. Gas is now $4 plus a gallon. "

"But dive into Rockefeller's report, in search of where exactly President Bush lied about what his intelligence agencies were telling him about the threat posed by Saddam Hussein, and you may be surprised by what you find.
On Iraq's nuclear weapons program? The president's statements "were generally substantiated by intelligence community estimates."
On biological weapons, production capability and those infamous mobile laboratories? The president's statements "were substantiated by intelligence information."
On chemical weapons, then? "Substantiated by intelligence information."
On weapons of mass destruction overall (a separate section of the intelligence committee report)? "Generally substantiated by intelligence information." Delivery vehicles such as ballistic missiles? "Generally substantiated by available intelligence." Unmanned aerial vehicles that could be used to deliver WMDs? "Generally substantiated by intelligence information."
As you read through the report, you begin to think maybe you've mistakenly picked up the minority dissent. But, no, this is the Rockefeller indictment. So, you think, the smoking gun must appear in the section on Bush's claims about Saddam Hussein's alleged ties to terrorism.
But statements regarding Iraq's support for terrorist groups other than al-Qaeda "were substantiated by intelligence information." Statements that Iraq provided safe haven for Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and other terrorists with ties to al-Qaeda "were substantiated by the intelligence assessments," and statements regarding Iraq's contacts with al-Qaeda "were substantiated by intelligence information." The report is left to complain about "implications" and statements that "left the impression" that those contacts led to substantive Iraqi cooperation.
In the report's final section, the committee takes issue with Bush's statements about Saddam Hussein's intentions and what the future might have held. But was that really a question of misrepresenting intelligence, or was it a question of judgment that politicians are expected to make?"

A similar thing happens when God becomes mother or mother becomes God. It interferes with the primordial basis of culture qua culture, which is to convert boys to men. If that fails to happen -- as with the left -- then civilization either cannot form or will not be able to sustain and defend itself, since there will be no men or manhood, only Democrats, or women and children. Furthermore, you would put yourself in the company of Iranian Fundamentalist Muslims, whose outlawing of Homosexual behavior is based on a Fundamentalist Interpretation of the Koran. Isn't this the SAME GROUP against which you rail and rant here nearly daily? Oh Queenie—you big kidder, you!
Yet your true colors say that you are a sympathizer. How precious, how sweet! Thank you!
Furthermore--you would attempt to characterize me as Gay, because you cannot envision a Man who is so completely secure with his own sexuality that he could vigorously defend the rights of ANY human being to love whichever sex they are compelled to be attracted and drawn to. In addition, you WOULD call me "Gay" because in your mind, it's the worst thing you could call me, right?
LOL!
For the record, Queenie; I don't care ONE BIT if people think I'm gay. You might as well call me "black", or "Liberal"! Just don;t call me "Conservative"! HORRORS!
Your other "nuts and bolts" analogy is so ridiculous as to be embarrassing for you! I'm surprised you didn't trot out the "Adam and Steve" thing! LOL!
See, Queenie, you can't see "Love" as being anything beyond "procreation". Hmmm...shades of Fundamentalism again?
Boy--I feel sorry for the former women in YOUR life!
Lastly Queenie--(I'm going to shamelessly cut-n-pasta from my OWN post on another page recently) I want you to reflect on the words of Barack Obama:
“…kids -- 7, 8, 9 years old -- take for granted now that of course a black can run for president. Of course a woman can run for president. There's a matter of factness to it that I think bodes well for the future."
You see, Queenie--Equality, Liberty for ALL, Tolerance and Moderation--THESE were the ideals of the Enlightenment--the ideals upon which our country was founded. That is why our Founding Father would applaud the country giving Gays the long-denied RIGHT to marry.
In closing, I both pity, and laugh at you. Because I know that, as you go to your grave, I know that the world YOU thought you knew--that of "us-against-them", of the rule of the White Christian Male, of comfortable bigotry taken for granted amongst "the gang" or in your own circles, of "God" and Religion; it's aallll fading into obscurity, and will be soon be a thing of only memory; something of which the young generation speaks of as we now speak of slavery and Jim Crow laws. Your world is ending, Queenie--and MINE is ascendant!
Have a nice fit of apoplexy! "

You can't deny your sexual orientation when you are born Gay.
Before you fire off an answer, just ask yourself--could YOU deny YOUR sexual preference?
Then what makes you think a Gay person could?
Sounds, like YOU'RE the "duck". "

Some people are born into it-just as some gays are NOT born gay and they choose.
all the same.
the next time the "churchies" are on the corner at Wegmans--invite them to your house for dinner. afterall YOU dont despise no one NOR no ones life style.
hanging with THEM you might find out they are just as normal as you gay friends. "

That's quite a significant difference.
I have REAL "Christian values", even if I HAVE disavowed my former Catholicism for Atheism, whereas your crew seems to have endorsed only the bigotry and xenophobia of Fundamentalist Christianity.
Pretty tough pill to swallow for you, I realize!--an Atheist, MORE "Christian" than the actual "Christians" HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! LOL!!!! "

The problem you described is more than just the city and county goverments. Its the state and federal goverment. Before the resident Bush bashers chime in. There are 535 elected people that run this country. You want change toss all the bums out when they come up for re election. I'm voting Nozziol out and anybody the is in office today in November. That is real change "
