To all the animal lovers, just a reminder that the hot weather has approached us on some of our spring days, heading into even hotter weather in the summer. I witnessed a lady leaving her dog in the car, with the windows up, on a hot day a couple of weeks go while she decided to go into the store to do her shopping. Meanwhile the dog was panting in the car.

Everyone knows how hot it can get inside vehicles, so why would anyone do this to their pet that they love so much? These people who treat an animal in such a manner should be locked in the car themselves without the windows down. You are the type of people who shouldn't even be allowed to own an animal.

I did call the police that day. So to all of you who do this, you might want to think twice and leave your animals at home instead of in the hot car, because people like me will be turning you in for cruelty to your animal. Remember you can be traced through your license plate number and animal lovers' eyes will be watching you.
