I've just finished the story about co-survivors, important during cancer battle. It's also extremely important to have a strong faith, a daily dose of Bible reading and a prayer life which will carry you through this battle. And remember, you're never alone.
I also have a sister who offers strength, support and love, and is there for all my problems and needs.
I have nieces and nephews who are there at the drop of a hat when I need them. I have Cody, Caitlyn and Kayla, who show me the laughter and joy I need as they grow.
Cody is 11 years old and he's the protector. He makes sure my feelings don't get hurt and gives me hugs very spontaneously.
Caitlyn is 6 years old, she's the most observant little girl and can ask a lot of her questions without fear. She's a special little lady with the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.
Kayla is 4 years old and she's always ready with a hug and climbs on my lap and shares a special warmth just when I need it.
Brooke, Chris, Joey and Tim are the adults who love me so abundantly and always are there if I call them. They always give me a hug every time they see me and say “I love you.”
I just wanted to share with readers my support system to help me in this difficult time of life.
My greatest support comes from a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and a never-ceasing prayer life.

In fact, a smart person might ask, "If you have had such a great relationship with God, then why didn't he just stop you from getting cancer in the first place?"
That type of "God" sounds like one asleep at the switch; you'd be better off without him!
Secondarily, Sharon; a study recently done--the largest of its kind--proved that patients in hospitals who knew they were being prayed for (And indeed, WERE being prayed for) had the highest--the HIGHEST INCIDENCE--of complications out of all the patients in the group!
Prayer DOES NOT WORK. Period. Ask a doctor how many amputees he's seen regrow arms or legs!
Hope you get through your cancer like my Atheist friend did--with absolutely NO prayer or belief in God whatsoever. "
