Benefit motorcycle ride turns tragic in Owasco
Three people were injured Saturday afternoon when two motorcycles, part of a group fundraiser ride, collided near the intersection of Route 38A and Rockefeller Road in Owasco.
The three were all reportedly transported to University Hospital in Syracuse, but the extent of their injuries was not known Saturday afternoon.
The riders were participating in Bug Run 2008, a charity event organized by Cayuga-Seneca ARC to benefit underfunded and non-funded agency programs and services.
