CORTLAND -- Authorities say a 47-year-old upstate New York woman found dead in her home is a murder victim.
Investigators with the Cortland County Sheriff's Department say Wendy Thibeault was strangled, but they are not saying how. No arrests have been made.
Investigators say Thibeault's body was discovered by neighbors Monday evening at her home, where she lived with her 17-year-old son.
Thibeault filed for divorce from her husband of 22 years in April and investigators say Randy Thibeault was arrested last month after a violent incident with his wife and charged with endangerment, harassment, menacing and unlawful imprisonment.
Authorities say they have questioned him but offered no other details on their investigation.
