The Auburn Police Department arrested two men in connection with a knife fight that sent one man to the hospital Friday afternoon.
Police accused Vyonne J. Elliott Jr., 17, of 109 Washington St., of cutting a victim during a fight at 2 p.m. near the intersection of Seymour and Holley Street. The victim was treated and released from Auburn Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Elliott was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Police also accused Corey A. Allen, 20, of 165 Cottage St., of attempting to cut a person with a knife. Allen faces second-degree attempted assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon charges.
