The Skaneateles boys golf team may be young, but the Lakers aren't inexperienced on the course.

With a 38-match winning streak on the line, the Lakers defeated Westhill 208-229 at Skaneateles Country Club Tuesday. Freshman Eric Edmunds was the medalist of the event, shooting a 37.

Edmunds is fairly familiar with the medalist role this year. His all-time low was at Pine Grove Golf Course against Solvay when he rounded the day with a 32. Also that day, the Lakers set a school record for overall score with a 179.
