AUBURN -- Firefighters are battling a structure fire on McMaster Street in a building attached to the Trader's Co-Op, formerly known as Auburn Trading Post.
Communication from command center set up at the site indicated the fire is under control. Firefighters arrived at the scene at roughly 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. No one was injured.
Officials at the scene said the fire started when some workers were cutting pipes inside the building, which is used for storage and has substantial amount of flammable material.
AFD, the Auburn Police Department and the city's code enforcement are investigating.
