J-E school bus driver charged with falsifying time sheet
A Jordan-Elbridge school district bus driver was charged by state police Wednesday with falsifying time cards in order to collect compensation for time she did not work.
New York State Police, in Elbridge, charged Rose M. Whitford, 53, of 8277 Sixty Road, Lysander with six counts of felony first-degree falsifying business records and one count of misdemeanorpetit larceny.
The arrest stems from an investigation in which she is accused of falsifying her time cards from Sept. 14, through February and in that period, stealing approximately $665 in cash. She was issued an appearance ticket for town of Jordan court and was released.
