Lianna May tossed her third no-hitter in four games, leading the Southern Cayuga softball team to another shutout victory, 18-0, over Marathon Monday.
May threw 10 strikeouts and walked one.
Leading at the plate for the Chiefs was Kim Willis going 4-for-4 with two triples and four RBIs, Felicia Allen had two hits with one grand slam, Jessica Curry added three hits with one double, Julie Hewitt earned two hits, May finished with two hits with a triple and Beth Rocker hit a double.
The Chiefs had a total of 17 hits with the win putting them 13-0 overall.
Their next game, at Union Springs Wednesday, could determine the division title. If the Chiefs win they will clinch the division but the Wolves are coming off a big win against ninth-ranked Chester.
“If we are healthy we will be all right,” Southern Cayuga head coach Dave Hewitt said. “But they will be preparing for us.”

Hannah Mackey led the way for the Blue Devils, batting 2-for-4 with a stolen base and two RBIs.
Also leading the Blue Devils, Jessica Kehoe pitched five innings and went 1-for-3 at the plate with one stolen base and two RBIs.
Moravia (3-9) plays against Marathon today.
Auburn 21, Corcoran 0
The Maroons started off hot with 12 runs in the first inning.
Leading Auburn was Kelly Grinnell with two hits, a triple and four RBIs, Jamie Bruno had two hits, Samantha Bruno earned two hits, three RBIs and a double and Nikki Neagle contributed two hits in the Maroon's 15-hit attack.
Also leading at the plate for Auburn was Sarah Wild who chipped in a double and three RBIs and Jen VanArsdale and Stefanie Spinney both collected RBI singles.
Brittney Babcock recorded the win, tossing a four-hitter and striking out six.
The Maroons (8-6) travel to Utica today.
The JV team also defeated Corcoran in a shutout, 13-0.
Taylor Acresti was the winning pitcher, Christina Hyrynk led the offense with three hits and Ali VanGiesen roped a home run.

Also leading the Panthers was Britney Helmer who was 2-for-3 at the plate with one RBI and one double.
Helmer also pitched six innings for Port Byron, throwing five strikeouts while hitting batter.
Also batting well for the Panthers was Nica Dare who went 1-for-3 with a run and Shelby Gilbert was 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run.

Ashley Thomas came back from injury to record the loss.
Pacing Cato-Meridian was Chelsea Townsend and Chelsea Terpening with one double apiece.

Zoe Hilpl had her first career start and recorded the loss pitching in the first game of the doubleheader for the Lakers.
In the second game, Alex Hughes threw seven strikeouts and gave up eight hits, four in the seventh inning.
Leading at the plate for the Lakers was Kate Driscoll with two hits and one RBI, Alexis Jones had two hits and one double, Terry Blessing recorded a hit and Jackie Stucker added one RBI.
“We hit a little better in the second game but it wasn't enough,” Lakers head coach Bob Braunitzer said. “The kids played well and put up a good effort. Hughes had good focus and pitched well.”
Skaneateles (1-8) plays another doubleheader at Hannibal Wednesday.

Newfield scored four runs in the second inning putting them up 4-0.
The Blue Devils rallied back with one run in the third, a run in the fourth and three in the sixth to take and hold the lead.
Taylor Mackey had the game-winning hit with a two-run single.
Mackey went 2-for-4 at the plate and finished with three RBIs.
The winning pitcher was also Mackey who threw nine strikeouts, three walks, allowed seven hits and four runs.
Also leading Moravia's offense was Jeremy Stewart who went 2-for-3 and hit a triple, Eric Youngs hit a solo home run to lead off the fourth inning and Dillon Langtry finished with a single.
The Blue Devils (9-5) who are undefeated in their division (6-0), host state-ranked and undefeated Marathon today.

Tab Carmon and Kent Pitcher each had a single.

Scott Wood led the way for the Wolves with four first-place finishes in the 110m hurdles (17.2), the 400m hurdles (62.5), the 100m (11.5) and the 200m (23.7).
Also leading the Wolves and recording three wins was Mike Howell in the long jump (19-8.5), triple jump (37-4) and winning the high jump (6-3).
Adding two first-place finishes for Union Springs was Zach Casper, winning the 3200m (12:10.3) and running a leg of the 4x800m relay (9:42.6) along with John Carroll, Joel Terry and Joe Feocco.
Joel Terry also recorded a win in the 1600m (4:51).
The 4x100m relay (48.9) also recorded a win for the Wolves with Anthony Hicks, Shane Groom, Matt Heindl and Nate Markham.

Demetrius Milczakowskyj won the 110 high hurdles (18.8), the 400 intermediate hurdles and the high jump to lead the Panthers.
Robert Yeomans won the shot put (36-11.5) and the discus (106-.5), Christian Cobb won the 3200m (11:16) and the 1600m (5:17) and Steve Cuff won the 400m (57.0) and the triple jump (36-0).
Shawn Seamans won the 100m (12.9) and Ryan Eldridge won the 200m (26.1).
