The state Department of Transportation said a new round of lane closings are planned, starting Wednesday, on Interstate 690 in Syracuse.
From 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, I-690 westbound will be reduced to one lane from the Teall Avenue exit to the I-81 north exit. The Teall on-ramp will also be closed.
The closures are taking place for work being done to re-stripe lanes in preparation for resurfacing work.
The work gets started on Thursday, when westbound lanes will be reduced to one lan from just west of the Teall on ramp, and the exit to I-81 south will be closed. This change will be in effect around the clock until May 29, except for the I-81 ramp, which should open by May 23.
