Why is this country sending oil to Japan?

Monday, May 5, 2008 11:39 AM EDT

I just heard from a very reliable source that this country is sending ships loaded with oil to Japan on a daily basis. The price of gasoline is nearly $4 a gallon and we are sending oil to Japan!
What is going on? I guess the politicians don't care as long as the oil companies are putting money in their pockets.

Food prices are getting higher and higher because of gas prices. People have to decide whether to buy gas to go to work or go to the grocery store so their families can eat.

It is time “we the people” take this country back before it is totally destroyed by our president and his yes men and women.

Pick up your pen and write or your phone and talk to these people we voted into office and let them know - enough is enough.

We can't sit around and do nothing any more.

Our young men and women are being killed or disabled every day because we are trying to run other countries and we can't even run our own.

It's time to fight back

" You mean his "set" right.
Yes, it is very environmentally responsible in many respects. "

" Slightly off topic...but has anyone else seen the Presidents house in Texas? It's probaly more environmentally responsible than 99.9% of the houses in Auburn. "

" Oil companies are sending oil to Japan b/c they can recieve better prices there. Do these companies not have the right to sell their product for the best price? It's not "this country" sending oil to Japan or anywhere else it is business's that employ hundreds of thousands of Americans and owned by most Americans in the country within their 401ks, pensions, and brokerage accounts.
