Thomas tosses one-hitter

Jillian Thomas pitched her second consecutive one-hitter for the Union Springs softball team against Moravia Wednesday, leading the Wolves to a 12-0 victory.
Thomas only threw 75 pitches in seven innings, recording 11 strikeouts. The only hit Thomas allowed was a single in the fourth inning.

At the plate, Thomas delivered two RBIs.

The Wolves were also led by Kelly Pinckney who had two hits and four RBIs.

Also batting well for the Wolves were Jaimi Jones and Amanda Forney who both had two hits and two RBIs. Shelby Freligh finished with two hits.

Union Springs (7-4) hosts Moravia (2-7) today.
