CAMILLUS -- After 32 years and 48 straight losses, the Auburn High School boys lacrosse team has ended its long hex against Section III powerhouse West Genesee.
The Maroons held on for a 5-4 victory over the Wildcats on Tuesday night at West Genesee High School -- their first ever over the Wildcats.
Auburn led 5-1 in the fourth quarter before West Genesee rallied to within one goal but the Maroons held on for the historic victory.
