Taylor Mackey had a three-run homer over the fence in the first inning as he led the Moravia baseball team, going 2-for-3 with four RBIs, in an 11-5 win over Southern Cayuga Monday.
The Blue Devils ended up scoring six in the first.
Mackey was also the winning pitcher, going four innings with seven strikeouts, three walks, two hits and allowing only one run.
Dillon Langtry entered in relief, pitching two innings, earning two strikeouts, no walks and only allowing one hit.
Also leading for the Blue Devils was Justin Stanton, tallying two hits and two RBIs and Greg Pasho had two hits with one double and came in to pitch the seventh inning when the Chiefs tried to rally for a comeback.
Chris Aguilar for the Chiefs hit a three-run triple in the seventh.
Spenser Lawyer threw a complete game for the Chiefs.
The Blue Devils (3-4) will play at Newfield Wednesday.

The Wolves' David Wilczek, Andrew Klock and Jared Bretherton each had two hits.

Cicero-North Syracuse 4, Auburn 0
It was a close loss for the Maroons who played well against one of Section III's top teams.
Leading the Maroons, Kelly Grinnell and Liz Daniels both earned one hit.
Maroons pitcher Brittney Babcock recorded the loss despite only giving up six hits and recording three strikeouts.
“It was a very good game defensively,” Maroons head coach Bob Lee said. “We only had one error but we didn't have enough hits. They gave good effort though.”
The Maroons (5-3) will host Central Square in a make-up game today.
Union Springs 6, Marathon 4
Jaimi Jones led off with a triple and earned two doubles and two RBIs.
Also leading for the Wolves was Shelby Freligh who recorded three of the Wolves 10 total hits and Kelly Pinckney earned one RBI.
A run also scored when Sue Nanna was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
Jillian Thomas had two hits and one RBI and as the winning pitcher she pitched the entire game racking up 11 strikeouts.
The Wolves (4-1) will host Groton Wednesday.
BOYS GOLF
Southern Cayuga 225, Moravia 229
Leading the Chiefs, Jordan Dean recorded a 43 at the Fillmore Golf Club.
Also leading for the Chiefs Kyle Perez, Dan Le and Arthur Burt shot 45.
Casey Underwood finished with a 47.
Pacing the Blue Devils was Anthony Canestaro who shot a 41.
Also leading for the Blue Devils Jake Heffernan who carded a 43, JJ Weeks shot a 45, Colby Bancroft finished with a 47 and Morgan Ward ended up with a 53.
The Blue Devils (0-4) travel to Groton Thursday.

The Wolves were led by Matt Cuff and Eric Hylwa who both carded a 39 at Indian Head Golf Course.
Also leading the Wolves, Michael Bean scored a 42, BJ O'Hara shot a 47 and Tim Morabito and Austin Thomas both finished with a 48.
The Wolves (4-0) play today against Groton at Indian Head Golf Course.
