Conway shuts down Northstars

Eric Conway pitched the full seven innings earning nine strikeouts, five walks, six hits and gave up only four runs as the Auburn baseball team put the clamps on Cicero-North Syracuse, 10-4 Monday.
“He shut them down pretty well,” Maroons head coach TJ Gamba said. “He pitched a great game, gave it great effort.”

Leading the Maroons offensively was Bob Buckley who went 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Also delivering at the plate was Ed Charles who went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, Noah Donch went 2-for-3 with one RBI and Steve Komanecky hit an RBI double.
