The Republicans have said Senator Rockefeller doesn't support our troops. I remember when a Republican senator from Missouri went on national television and said, I quote: “It's OK if American troops get killed in Iraq because they are volunteers.”

The Republicans love our troops so much, they don't care if they're killed.

Maybe that's why they sent our troops into combat without body armor.
