Why do women scream so often, for so many reasons?

Thursday, April 17, 2008 11:40 AM EDT

Screech! Why do women have to scream? They scream for joy and they scream when surprised or frightened. After a while it's hard to tell whether they are overjoyed or are in a life or death situation and need help.
If they just want to draw attention to themselves, they would do better to work on their personalities. Put a large group of these “howlers” together and they sound like pack of coyotes.

Give me a good old-fashioned girl, even if she isn't a raving beauty. If she isn't constantly looking for a camera to scream at, she will be more pleasant to be around.

Which would you rather have?

" I think some places are inappropriate for anyone to scream, and I find a woman (or group) of women screaming and laughing/cackling loudly in a public place as annoying as a guy screaming out song lyrics or whooping loudly during a "high five moment", and guys have as hard a time calming down once they're whipped up into an annoying frenzy of high fives and fist bumps (shudder) as a group of women out acting up over a couple glasses of white zinfandel. " And why do so many men think it is acceptable and even amusing to belch in public? Give me a break.

If women want to express themselves, let them! (Personally, I am not much for squealing females either, but if that's how they express themselves, leave them be spontaneous - at least it isn't crude or smelly). "

" Bob, I can always tell when you slip off your medication--please go get your prescription refilled...
PS, I'd rather have on your medication, than screaming about stupid stuff like this; BTW, if you've ever made a woman scream, you know how distinctly invigorating and edifying that can be...;) "
