  We're being told by our elected officials to “stay the course!” You've got to be kidding - we're in crisis and taxpayers should be outraged at how our politicians are mismanaging our taxpayers' monies!

• News media should have more respect, less gossip
  Can news media be more respectful? I was disgusted to see the front page of the Saturday Citizen, April 12 edition. A young man had been killed in a car accident and a family is grieving. How can people be so disrespectful in a death tragedy like this?

• Why do women scream so often, for so many reasons?
  Screech! Why do women have to scream? They scream for joy and they scream when surprised or frightened. After a while it's hard to tell whether they are overjoyed or are in a life or death situation and need help.

• Paper should consider Hill family's suffering
  So sad for the family of Gary Hill to have his recent misfortune with the law being the main topic of his tragic death. (“Locke man killed in crash.”) Anyone who knew Gary certainly knows what a nice young man he was.
