Andrianos drives home winning run

Alicia Andrianos led the Jordan-Elbridge softball team past Port Byron 2-1 Wednesday.
Andrianos drove in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth as she reached on one of the four errors by the Panthers. Taylor Sauginas scored the run after pinch running for Jenn Gasparek.

Gasparek tossed seven innings of work, striking out eight, giving up eight hits and allowing one run to score. Sarah Fordyce had a multi-hit game for the Eagles.

Nica Dare finished with two hits for the Panthers and scored a run. Corey Ryan also had a multi-hit game for the Panthers. Britney Helmer tossed six innings worth of work, struck one out, allowed five hits and gave up two unearned runs.
