The candidates are just puppets for authority

Tuesday, April 15, 2008 11:51 AM EDT

We've just passed another milestone: George Bush has killed more Iraqis than Bill Clinton. Yeah, that's what I said. I don't keep the exact numbers handy, but Clinton's sanctions, while doing little to Saddam, killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, a high percentage being children.
Anyone who believes there are significant policy differences between Obama, Clinton and McCain is missing the whole point. These “scamdidates” are puppets for a higher authority. Period. It they weren't, they would be asked questions like: “have you ever seen a UFO?” at the presidential debates. It's very simple: challenge one of the biggest money makers in history of man (the Pentagon) and you aren't viable.

The “spoiler” in this, as any election, is greed. The “egomaniacs” are the people who sell their souls to get their names in American history books.

I have read several editions expressing the view that our votes don't count anyway so don't vote at all.

There are one or two things that power wants us to do in November: Go down the cattle chute and vote for preordained or don't vote at all. Either one is quite acceptable. What the masters don't want us to do is think for ourselves.

Forget “viable” and cast a vote for sanity, no matter how much of a long shot it is. This year sanity is spelled N-A-D-E-R.

Anyone who doesn't like that message, get a hold of me and we'll place a bet on what Obama does as president. I could use the money. Candidate for change - give me a break!

" The electoral system in this country is deeply flawed, but who is going to change it? It perfectly well supports a two party only system (which are nearly identical in many respects.)

One thing I would like to see on the ballot is "NONE OF THE ABOVE". "

" Joe, I don't like any of the candidates either, yet I think we are in an unresolvable dilemma whatever we do. I know I don't want McCain in office, and it's looking like the only way to insure that is to pick one of the lesser evils and vote for Obama -- voting for Nader, while sending the important message that the American public wants an alternative, is more likely to result in McCain in office than anything else. The big powers have been ignoring us for generations, and a few votes for Nader now aren't going to change that.

But you are quite right -- the lesser of two evils is still evil, and none of it sits well with me.

BTW, it was the Allies own fault that WWII broke out because the conditions of the Versailles Treaty were so unrealistic and harsh that they practically guaranteed another war. Keeping troops in Germany would not have changed that reality. "

" Does anyone out there believe that ANY candidate will fulfill their campaign promises? Let's face it's all BS until they get into office. Do you really believe if a Dem got in office, that we would be out of Iraq by the end of '09? They ALL say what they think will get them elected. The Dems took over the Senate, any change? The housing situation is bad because people over bought. Gee, I can get a house with nothing down and a low interest rate for 2-3 years! People have to take responsibility! "

" Get a grip Brew. Being a beta-male has nothing to do with sexuality as I've met Karl and his girlfriend in person.
There has to be beta-males for there to be alpha-males, keeps things in balance. "

" Karl I disagree with your spew of "indicators show that a vote for McCain would be a disaster for the country." The only one's spewing that are from the far left wing. But, you didn't go to any of their blogs for any of the spew, right. Who does Barack Obama look up to? Rev. Wright- Obama's words, not right wing spew. When he replaced Rev. Wright with a new preacher, this preacher's term of endearment for other blacks is to call them House "N" word serving the White Man. If this is how Obama picks his advisers then he's NOT Presidential Material. Maybe he needs some more time in the Senate before going for the Big House. My Mama use to say a man can be judged by the friends he keeps. Obama is not showing good friends or judgment so far. Since you like Gillie-Man I will continue to refer to you as "Karl the Girllie-Man" "

" Believe it or not, hillbill, I've never visited a left-wing blog in my life. I don't like extremes, one way or the other. I get my news, cross-check it, process it and then spew. And all indicators show that a vote for McCain would be a disaster for the country.
BTW< "girlyman" is a compliment to me. The worst type of men are the ones hyper obsessed with their masculinity to the point of being macho A-holes. A little femininity is good for your soul.
Unlike McCain, who thinks that he has to be a macho man in his ridiculous statements. What a shallow insecurity he's trying to hide. This is the kind of jerk--like Bush and Cheney-- who will try to redeem their insecurities by sendng younger men to die for their "macho" swaggering on the world stage.
What we need is a communicator like Obama--not a thickheaded dolt like McCain. "

" Karl I don't take any medication legal or non-legal, unlike you. You and AJ are the one's who like to run to the left wing blogs and then spew it as truth. And no I am not frustrated as Obama says but, I do own and gun and believe in God. And I will bet you today if Barack gets in we will still be in Iraq at the end of his first term. You have learned history and what happened after WWII right? We are still in Germany too. But, what happen after WWI? We left and the world was again at war within about 20 years, 1918 to 1939. This is what you Secular Progressive Dem's are heading for. The only question is, is the rest of America going to let them (SP's)take us there? What I have said is true look at history. McCain is a good man, he's work with those on the other side even to the point of pissing off the right wingers. Obama is the most liberal member of Congress, yep he's going to be good for this country, NOT. And Karl what you hear as whining is me not beating around the bush, you just don't like it. To bad Girllie-Man, McCain 08. "

karl L wrote on Apr 13, 2008 3:10 PM:

" Obama in 08, no other choice for a true patriot or real American "

karl L wrote on Apr 13, 2008 3:09 PM:

" Oh hillbilly please, stop your whining--that whole non-issue about what Obama sadi is just PROOF of how desperate McCain and Hillary are to knock Obama down.
Obama said a piece of truth, and people are trying to turn it into something it's not, nor ever was. Get a clue, Get back on your medication!
Voting for McCain is like voting for 4 more years of Bush--if McCain even lives that long. More War, more trillions of dollars in debt, and an angry vindictive war monger in the White House--what are ou on--crack?!
A vote for McCain is a vote for Osama Bin Laden. "

Hillbilly wrote on Apr 13, 2008 12:42 PM:

" Yes, please all you Dem's who don't like Obama please vote Nader. Because I would rather have the Warrior McCain in office than a Racist follower, say anything to get elected, who says when some people "get bitter, they cling to their guns or religion or antipathy to people who are not like them." referring to Pennsylvania Whites and let's be real, many other white Americans too. Yup, Obama will Unite this country, NOT. "

This A-hole cost the Dems the last election and is too megamaniacal to realize that the last thing the country needs is anpother Republican war-monger in the White HOuse.
Voting for N-A-D-E-R is S-T-U-P-I-D!!!! "
