Weedsport woman facing grand larceny charge

A Weedsport woman was arrested Monday after she was accused of embezzling money from her employer.
According to New York State Police, Amy L. DeCarr, 34, of 58 Second Drive, is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony. Police said she allegedly stole approximately $2,800 between January and the present from the Faber Gift Shop, located on the Thruway in the Town of VanBuren.

DeCarr was issued an appearance ticket and released, pending an April 23 hearing in VanBuren Town Court.
