Four recipients of the Seventh Annual Works of Love Award, sponsored by Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes, will be honored at a dinner from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Springside Inn in Fleming.
Honorees include Barbara Bowen, Jill Fandrich, Fred Richardson and Marsha Smith.
Jennie Haines, Auburn planning and economic development director, will be the keynote speaker.
According to a news release from Catholic Charities, the Works of Love Award recognizes individuals in Cayuga County whose everyday lives reflect God's compassion, mercy and love. This year it honors those who worked behind the scenes with a strong sense of commitment toward the Cayuga County community.
The dinner is open to the public, with advanced reservations required. Tickets are $35 per person, including hors d'oeuvres and a family style dinner.
For reservations, call 253-2222, ext. 320 by April 14. Tickets will be mailed upon receipt of payment.
