USBC women's meeting April 13

The annual meeting of the Auburn USBC Women's Bowling Association will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at Falcon Lanes.

It's open to any woman sanctioned through the association. While only members are allowed to vote on issues, guests are welcome to attend.

The meeting's agenda will include distribution of prize money and trophies from the annual tournament, election of board positions for next season, and a budget review.

Association Manager Ann Felton is also asking that anyone interested in running for a board position can contact her at 923-2180.

USBC Association meeting May 16

The Auburn USBC Association Members meeting will be 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Falcon Lanes.

All sanctioned bowlers in Auburn are invited to attend.

Quest for state title begins soon

The 83rd New York State Championships will run until June 8 at Flamingo Bowl in Liverpool.

Squads are scheduled Saturdays (11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) and Sundays (9 a.m. and 1 p.m.). A 7:30 p.m. shift rolls April 12. The event consists of team ($175), doubles ($70) and singles ($35). Entry into all-events costs $10.

Storrs benefit set for April 13

A benefit for Brian Storrs, who needs a kidney transplant, will be Sunday, April 13 at the Ukrainian National Club from 1 to 5 p.m.

A pasta dinner will be served, and there will be raffles and door prizes. The donation is $10.
