NIAGARA FALLS - More than 30 people are in custody after authorities launched drug raids in several western New York locations.
The U.S. Attorney's office in Buffalo says warrants were issued for the arrests of 36 people involved with drug sales in Erie and Niagara Counties. Police raids launched Thursday morning resulted in the arrests of all but one of the suspects.
The raids were conducted in two Buffalo suburbs and in Lockport in Niagara County by federal agents and officers from state, county and local law enforcement agencies.
Federal officials say the charges include conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana.
