Regarding Judy Vorreuter's recent column on the SPCA's adoption policy, I'd like to make a few suggestions that might help facilitate adoptions. I would like to see all shelter animals adopted.

This is an open letter to the Cayuga County Legislature. I am an election inspector and I am writing on behalf of myself and the other election inspectors in this county. We worked the primary on Feb. 5 and as of today, March 24, we still have not received our paychecks. From what I hear through “the grapevine,” we'll be lucky to receive our pay by the first week of April.
