Seniors roll this weekend
The third annual Vi Stoddard Women's Senior Masters holds qualifying 2 p.m. Saturday at Rainbow Lanes, while the 12th Byrn's-Sennett Men's Senior Masters has its qualifying round Sunday at Rainbow with squads at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The handicap events are for those aged 50 and older.
Entry fee is $25. The top qualifiers in each tournament (16 women and 32 men) will shoot one-game elimination matches beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 6 at Falcon Lanes.
The four remaining players in each division then bowl stepladder finals, and two champions will be crowned.

Golf/bowling event in May
The second annual USBC Golf/Bowling Tournament will be May 3-4. The event, open to men and women, begins 6 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at Starlite Lanes.
Two-person teams will bowl three games in a best-ball format.
Play continues noon Sunday, May 4, for a shotgun start at Lakeview Golf and Country Club.
The two-person scramble will include cart, a skins game and a dinner after the competition.
The cost is $160 per team.
One player on each team must be a member in good standing with the USBC.

Storrs benefit set for April 13
A benefit for Brian Storrs, who needs a kidney transplant, will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at the Ukrainian National Club
A pasta dinner will be served, and there will be raffles and door prizes. The donation is $10.
