Time to pull out the christmas lights and the ladder to show off your holiday cheer.
If you decorate your house each year, or if you've decided to try it for the first time, The Citizen would like to see what you've done. Send in your photos of this year's decorations for a chance to be featured in a cover story in Lake Life and have your house displayed to more than just passersby.
We're looking for the most creative family with the most holiday cheer. The most festive houses will be featured in a special holiday edition of Lake Life set to run just before Christmas.
And if chosen, first, second and third place winners can receive some help at the pump - $100, $50 and $25 gas gift cards will be awarded to the top honors. Houses lighting up all of Cayuga County, Skaneateles, Jordan, Elbridge and Seneca Falls are welcome to enter.
Submit your best photo (just one please) and a short explanation of why you should be chosen at the bottom of this page or mail them in to The Citizen, Holiday Contest, 25 Dill St., Auburn, NY 13021. Entries must be received by midnight Sunday, Dec. 16. Also include your full name, address and contact information.
