Better than ever

Sandy Vertz decided this season she was going to take a little time off from bowling, but that doesn't mean she hasn't noticed the increasingly strong performances by other women bowlers in the Auburn area.

“A lot of girls have been getting 300s lately,” Vertz said. “I really have to congratulate all of them; you really don't see it that often.”

Recently, Vertz found herself joining the growing ranks.
