A local man led police on a foot chase down Grant Avenue Monday night after being stopped for speeding, police said.
Ricky Warner, 21, of 33 Frances St., Apt 2, Auburn, exited his vehicle at 49 Grant Ave., Auburn, and fled Auburn city police officers on foot. The police managed to stop Warner behind the AAMCO on Grant Avenue, where he fled from them again.
Officers were able to catch up with Warner half a mile down the road behind the Rite Aid at 153 Grant Ave., and place him under arrest. Warner was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing government officials, operating a vehicle without a license and driving while ability impaired by alcohol.
