MISSOULA, Mont. - A fugitive from New York state, accused of possessing child pornography, has been arrested by Missoula County sheriff's deputies.
Mark Cunningham of Bainbridge, N.Y., was arrested on a warrant from New York's Chenango County, where he pleaded not guilty last April to possession of child pornography.
Authorities say Cunningham was released on $20,000 bail, but then failed to appear for numerous court appearances.
Deputies arrested Cunningham Friday at Lolo Hot Springs, a resort about 35 miles southwest of Missoula. The sheriff's department says the warrant specifies bail of $75,000.
Sheriff's detectives told KPAX television in Missoula they received a tip last week that Cunningham was in the area.
