Kent Brandstetter's not the only one in debt

In response to Joe Leogrande and Judy Ducayne's letters:
I feel the need to write. Thank you to the Brandstetters and school board members for holding all the public offices for us. I feel the need to explain why I can't afford to do this.

First of all, I work from 11 p.m. until 1 p.m. the following day. Let me explain why. I have taxes, a water bill, house mortgage, two car payments, phone, and cable. If I need to say more, I can.

To the elderly who have lost your homes due to taxes or sickness, I'm sorry the good-ol'-boys weren't there for you, but maybe we can get the school board members to do a collection for you also. Are you kidding me!

You people are elected to be our eyes and ears because you chose to run. I didn't know we have to pay your bills too. Please keep my hours in mind for public office. I can handle it if you just pay my cable and phone bill.

Good luck to the Brandstetters. We will be joining you soon. Things aren't going to get better.
