Aaserud is a strong competitor, showing great promise for the Lakers.

Aaserud had a jump of 12 feet for his best jump of the season.

For the second straight year, Wild participated in the New York State meet in the long jump event.

Matt Wild

Auburn Jr Triple jump

Wild's best jump was 40-9.25

“He came in and went to states,” Eli Hernandez said “He worked hard, practiced hard and did well in all of his jumps this year. Matt is a great jumper and he's only going to get better. It's unfortunate he's going to be playing baseball instead of running outdoor track and field.”

Auburn So. Shot put

Fresco's best throw was 40-0 this season and may run for the outdoor team in the spring.

“I told him he was going to run and he was so excited.” Maroons coach Eli Hernandez said. “He's very persistent and dedicated. He attends every practice and is always there wanting to get better.”
