This morning my wife and I attended a pancake breakfast fundraiser, sponsored by the Mottville Fire Department. A portion of the profit will be donated to help offset the cost of the Senior Class “After the Ball Party.” This was a wonderful idea for the community to help support two worthy causes. We all owe the Mottville Fire Department volunteers a special thank you for their efforts in promoting a program designed to help keep our young people safe.

It was good to see several members of the senior class working with the members of the fire department. It was also great to see so many parents, grandparents, relatives and friends enjoying good food and friendly conversation while participating in a worthy cause.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen of the Mottville Fire Department.
