Abortion bill exonerating doctors a travesty

Monday, March 17, 2008 11:47 AM EDT

Governor Spitzer has proposed legislation bill No. 165-5829, which includes a law exonerating a doctor from prosecution if a woman dies during an abortion procedure. The doctor would not be held accountable for the mother's health, even if it is his or her fault.
If you think this is a travesty of justice, contact your state senator and assemblyperson to vote against this bill.

" Hey, what's the difference between all those unspoken laws that exonerate doctors when people die for much less than that? They killed my grandmother with a wrong prescription, and my other grandfather with over-medication. No doctors paid for these murders? "
