Periods of snow showers are likely Sunday for most of the region, including Cayuga County, but accumulations will not be significant, the National Weather Service is saying.
Forecasters are calling for snow showers during the day Sunday to produce less an inch of snow on untreated surfaces. The high for the day will be around 34 degrees.

At night, more snow showers are possible, but accumulations will be less than half an inch, the NWS says. The overnight low will be around 20 degrees.

On Monday, the forecast is for partly cloudy skies with a higher near 37.
