Thanks to many good people in our community Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity continues to make a difference in the lives of local families. In 2006 a house in Sennett was donated to our organization. A dedicated team of volunteers worked over a year alongside the selected partner family to renovate the home. The proud homeowner moved in just before Christmas of 2007. In early 2007 a home on Wadsworth Street in Auburn was donated to us. A partner family was selected and work began there in late summer.
Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Our affiliate is run on a 100 percent volunteer basis. All of our funding is derived from local individuals, local businesses and other local not-for-profit organizations. Without the commitment of the many volunteers and donors our organization would cease to exist. We can't possibly say thank you enough.
