SYRACUSE -- A former court security guard in upstate New York will spend six years in federal prison for collecting and trading child pornography.
A federal judge also sentenced 30-year-old Philippe Reboux to 10 years of supervision after his release from prison.
Reboux formerly worked for the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department. He pleaded guilty in September to receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography and was sentenced Wednesday.
Prosecutors say Reboux collected more than 600 images of child pornography and fully cooperated with FBI agents investigating the case of a Texas man in 2004. The man had images sent by Reboux on his computer. Reboux was first charged in October 2006.
