Taking it to the streets

Mary Bushallow was happy to join a team again and run cross country with the Syracuse Track Club in the Open Women's Division. She was even happier when the club nominated and awarded her the Open Women Runner of the Year Award.

After running four or five races in the Upstate Central New York Cross Country Series, Bushallow ended up in seventh place overall, the top woman on her team. This achievement earned Bushallow the nomination and win for the Open Women's Runner of the Year award after only her first year on the team.

Bushallow has been running for nearly 15 years, and has piled up many accomplishments in a career that started in high school.
