I am writing this to give my view on the cheerleaders at Union Springs Central School.
I was appalled to see NO CHEERLEADERS at our sectional basketball game on Friday evening. We've had a super team this year and they deserve the support of everyone, especially our cheerleaders!
What is the problem? No school spirit or just plain lazy? The girls basketball team cheered them on, as did the spectators.
As a former cheerleader, I was actually embarrassed!
