The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Cayuga County, saying an Alberta clipper will bring two to four inches of snow to the region from Friday into Saturday.
While snowfall is not expected to be significant, some bursts of heavy snow could make travel difficult in isolated areas.

The agency is also predicting a significant warm-up early next week, raising the possibility of ice jam flooding in some areas.
