SYRACUSE -- An upstate New York high school honor roll student is admitting his role in distributing nude photos that underage females students took of themselves.
Michael Wixson pleaded guilty today to a felony of possessing a sexual performance by a child. The Cicero-North Syracuse student admits having nearly three dozen images of child pornography.
State Supreme Court Justice John Brunetti is promising Wixson no more than five years probation. Sentencing is set for April 21.
Wixson was charged after he sent the photos over the Internet to a 15-year-old girl.
School officials say nine girls took the photos in mid-2006 using digital and cell phone cameras. The girls -- between the ages of 11 and 14 -- sent the photos to their boyfriends.
