The hospital contacted the Auburn Fire Department, which has people trained specifically to deal with potentially hazardous spills. The firefighters assessed the situation and quickly cleaned it up.

Statewide, 18 people have been killed this winter, including four in the past two weeks in Oneida County and three over the course of five days on the same trail in Long Lake.
State officials say snowmobiling fatalities had declined in recent years because of widespread safety and education efforts.
